Music Teacher inperson and on-line with 25 Years of Experience

Get To Know The Teacher
I love to teach music! I have been teaching Homeschool Music Class in-person for 25 years in the Chattanooga and Cleveland Tn area. and have just started teaching virtually also. I have a degree in Music Ed. and Elementary Ed. and an additional Kodaly Certification. I teach in-person in Chattanooga, TN, and virtually from anywhere! My virtual classes have a personal video interaction with each student every week or two. I believe that EVERY child can sing and EVERY child can learn to read music. It is so rewarding to see my students start to ‘understand’ the language of music! I offer a virtual-only class for students (ages 10 and up) that want to learn to read music by playing the recorder.  This class also includes music appreciation listening and has a fun, musical reinforcement YouTube Clap Along/Play Along with every lesson. This would qualify for a Fine Arts credit for high school! There is in-person interaction with me every single lesson! This class is called Recorder Essentials Plus – information is on my website.

You can contact me for info on pricing and other questions you have.  Phone#423.762.3382
