Bates Farm is a private woman owned beautiful 44 acres area 8 miles from the Beltline outside of Decatur, Alabama city limits. We are homeschool friendly for science and nature trips.

Primitive Camping/ glamping:

  • 19 primitive camping sites (Primitive camping means no power, water, nor waste disposal is provided)​

  • 11 primitive sites have Glamping as an extra on hipcamp (These have generator power,  water and all gear provided​)

  • 3 RV sites - dry camping

  • 1 glamping sites​

We offer safe, private campsites arranged in such a way so sites can not see each other.
